“Can it be directed in the different then straight forrward (windscreen) direction? I mean - can I record side windows if needed for example when someone is approaching my car to argue with me or to be agreesive and I want to record this behaviour.”

Yes, you can place or move to any direction you want to film. Just depends on how you mount the camera
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You would have to remove it from the window via magnet and point it in that direction and while holding it . It is meant to record straight in a fixed position . Don’t argue with anyone .

The mount does have some rotational movement, but this will not extend to your side windows. You can either take the camera off the mount to manually film someone at your side window, or use a Nextbase Cabin View camera attached to your 522GW.
