“My next base 522 has been hardwired in. When in use it now shows continually my speed in large letters across the screen. How do I get back to it showing video of my journey instead of continual speed reading across the screen.?”

Hello, you have Screen Saver Speed Display enabled. Please disable this setting by following these instructions - 1) Turn the Dash Cam on. 2) Stop it recording (by pressing the red circle). 3) Go into Settings (the button in the top left). 4) Go into Setup settings. 5) Scroll across to ‘Screen Saver. 6) Select the Speed Display setting. 6) Disable the Speed Display here.
