Yes, i have the version that zooms through the rear window (rather than the wide-angle one that aims to capture the interior of the car), and it works well. Except for when it causes a bug in the main camera that fouls up normal operation and needs to be powercycled.

Here's some more information about each: The Rear Window Camera- This camera connects to the 522GW using a 6 metre long cable, and is positioned inside the rear window of the vehicle. This records the view of the road behind your car. The Rear Facing Telephoto View Camera- This camera connects directly to the side of the 522GW and records the image of the road behind your car, looking through your car. The Rear Facing Cabin View Camera- This camera connects directly to the side of the 522GW and records the inside of your car. e.g. the image of the driver and passengers. All of the rear modules are available at BestBuy. Note: only one rear camera can be used with the 522GW at one time.
