It does not. They sell an optional tiny rear view camera that quickly plugs in the side of it. Note this only covers people inside the vehicle. Only perhaps useful to say Uber drivers? They sell another camera with a long wire that really needs to be hard installed mounted say by your license plate and the wire must run right to the base unit. This option will give you a good rear view. I like the camera but the battery life is terrible
