Mine was stuck in 2018. A few minutes later it fixed itself after the camera obtained a GPS fix.

If the battery has not been charged, the cam may default to 2018 when you use it. Here's how to change the time: 1) Turn the Dash Cam on 2) Ensure it is not recording (by pressing the red circle if required) 3) Go into Settings (the button in the top left) 4) Go into Setup settings 5) Scroll across to ‘Time and Date’ 6) Set the correct time and date here.
