Yes, there is a rear-facing cabin view camera (directly plugs into the main unit) to record car's interior cabin. If your car/SUV is not super wide, the rear facing camera can also capture a little bit of the side window view. There is also a telephoto rear-facing lens that records more directly straight back through rear window.
