Since it used batteries is it wireless? null

The internal battery only last for a short time. The camera will need to be plugged into a power source (cigarette adapter which is supplied or a hardwired kit which is sold separately). It will need constant power if you plan on using parking mode. The hardwire kit uses a fuse tap. I have a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 and the supplied fuse taps in the hardwire kit is not compatible with the size of fuses in my truck. I had to buy a separate fuse tap to plug into the hardwire kit.

Hello. The Dash Cam is powered either via the supplied 12/24V car power cable or hardwired into the fuse box using the Nextbase Hardwire Kit. The Dash Cam itself is wireless as the power goes directly into the mount meaning the Dash Cam is wireless in the vehicle. Thanks, Nextbase
