The gps can be seen on a smart phone, down load the app set it up then on the smart phone in tge recordings you can see gps , speed , time , date , location . I would not recommend the nextbase gw 522 car camera

However, you can access GPS data through the My Nextbase Connect app, you will be able to see detailed information for your recordings including GPS coordinates. Still Camera Shot: For still camera shots, GPS coordinates are embedded in the metadata of the recorded video or image. You can view this data by accessing the video or image file through MyNextbase Connect on your phone or My Nextbase Player on your PC.
