Hello! Our cameras are not weatherproof and therefore should not be mounted outside of the vehicle.

The camera is not built for the rigors of inclement weather and designed for interior mounting in a protected environment. It would work yes but likely wouldn’t last very long from moisture & corrosion.
You could make a plexiglass enclosure to house the camera to keep it protected from the elements !

I haven’t been able to get mine installed yet as I broke my foot right after purchasing the unit & the closest Best Buy to do the job i2 about 75 miles away.
