• A:Answer Thank you for the question and happy to help. This system is a Wi-Fi system that connects to the hub wirelessly, but does use A/C power for the cameras as highlighted in the second image. Q: QuestionCan these be hardwired for power to the camera or do you have to use the AC power?

• A:Answer Thank you for your question about powering the Wireless IP cameras. These cameras are designed to work only with the included AC power adapters that come with the kit. The cameras cannot be be hardwired for power without voiding the warranty.

Q: QuestionHow long are the cord to plug in the cameras? Can u get longer cords? Can u buy extra cameras or is 6 all u can use?

• A:Answer Thank you for the question and happy to help. Power cables are 9 ft in length. You could use extension cords if needed to run longer distances. Q: QuestionWhat is the recommended and maximum range from the base station to the cameras?

• A:Answer Thank you for the question and happy to help. There are several factors that impact range on Wi-Fi based connections. We rate our cameras for up to 300 feet when there aren't dense objects in between the components. Dense objects like bricks and concrete more quickly reduce range versus drywall and other objects.
