• While you may choose to keep your Night Owl system offline primarily you will need to connect to wired internet to register your device for warranty support. Periodically you will want to update firmware to ensure your system is up to date with best features, security patches, and any other needed updates. The system itself will create its own wireless network for the cameras to connect to that can indeed be kept offline if you prefer. You will not be able to remote view the system if not connected to the internet though. Thanks, Night Owl SP Support Team
