Battery based systems are great for quick installation, but are impacted by temperatures impacting charge of the batteries as well as frequency of alerts and other challenges. You can adjust the sensitivity settings of your cameras if they are going off more frequently than needed which would save power usage. Also, our cameras are capable of holding 4 batteries to extend the lifespan between charges which we encourage.
