• Hi nicole. Yes, these are AC Powered Wireless cameras meaning each camera will include a power adapter and must be plugged into an outlet or power source. If there is an area where you do not have an outlet nearby, you can use an extension cable. If that still is not an option, this Wi-Fi NVR can hold up to 4 wire free (battery-operated) cameras. • The camera was awesome and great. Also you can ciew anywhere specially when you left youre house. The only thing is bad is sometimes is not recording consistently. But other than that was so sood amd clear
