“I have Night Owl 3.0 system and want to up grade to the 5.0 system I have the wired units my question is can I use the cables that I have now on the up grade unit and change the box to the 5.0.”

Yes, your cables will work with our old 5.0 recorder, but they will not work properly or at all with our 4K systems (which is the product you have selected for this question).
