It is difficult to ensure compatibility without specific model info but in general if you have a new recorder with 2-way audio, you are welcome to add compatible cameras without 2-way audio. They just don't have the ability to provide 2-way audio functionality, but will still record. The tech is on both sides, recorder and camera. Hope this helps.
