Yes, you can switch the recording mode from motion to continuous, to record 24/7. If you switch to continuous record, you would still be able to select to receive motion alerts when a motion event is detected by one of the cameras. Keep in mind, continuous record, will eat through your available hard drive space at a much quicker rate. Once the hard drive becomes full, it is set to auto-overwrite old footage.
