QuestionIs everything includedWill I need a computer or Internet connection to make this work. I want to put it in a barn where there is electricity but that's about all. Will this work for me?

- Answer Good Morning. The system will mostly function without an internet connection. However, you will not receive notifications without the DVR being manually connected to your Modem/Router. So, you will be able to record and watch video playback, but will not get email alerts or motion activated push notifications. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

Questiondoes dvr use H.264 video compression?

QuestionHow can you transfer the video recorded to your computer? And does this support Quad viewing on a monitor?I've read some systems don't allow transferring of the video to external devices (PC, Laptop). Does this have that ability? And for the monitor, you can watch 4 cams at once and do you need a Laptop or Monitor or would both work?

- Answer Good Afternoon. You can backup your recordings to a USB drive and then view them on your PC/MAC. Regarding a monitor, you can use either a TV or PC monitor via HDMI or VGA. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.
