Local viewing means that you can view your Night Owl device from a TV or monitor using an HDMI connection, without Internet. All of our DVR/NVRs come with an HDMI cable for connectivity. Keep in mind, most of our products require your TV or monitor to be a minimum of 1080p resolution to function. Our DVR/NVRs also have a VGA port, if you do not have an open HDMI port on your TV or monitor and would rather use a VGA cable. A VGA cable is not included. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
