Can I add more cameras? Hello,

I see that this is a 8 channel DVR with 4 cameras. While the cameras are fine for outside the house, I wanted to monitor indoors with more subtle cameras. Does this system only work with other Night Owl cameras? Or can I add 3rd part camera's to the DVR setup? If so, what specifications do I need to look for in 3rd part cameras that can be added to this system?

U can use in door also we love ours

Good Afternoon. Night Owl cannot guarantee compatibility with 3rd party cameras. With the AHD Series DVR (which is the DVR you have) you can use any Night Owl analog camera, including our dome cameras which do not stand out as much as our bullet cameras. Yes, I have 8 cameras. but that's the max for this unit.. I purchased the same Night Owl so I imagine if the connection is the same it would be fine. But I WOULDN'T KNOW MYSELF.
