“What type of batteries does the cameras take as I read the cam require 2 bats for 3 mo and 4 run 6 mo that im after. How do you charge the bats. Do you have to run a cord to cams to charge or is there a bat charger”

Thank you for the question and happy to help. These cameras use rechargeable lithium ion 18650 batteries. Battery life depends on a number of factors including if you choose continuous recording or event based, how active the camera zones are for activity, etc. You can charge backup batteries and swap them or pull down the camera and recharge.
