• If you are asking if you can record directly to a NAS device and bypass the internal hard drive completely, then I doubt it. The internal hard drive is a SATA drive and will not talk directly to a NAS device. If you talking about backing up data from the internal hard drive to a NAS device, then I would ask the Night Owl tech support on their chat lines service if that will work thru the USB interface.
