Hi Gary. The cameras should be able to connect to this newer DVR using their existing cabling. However, it would only allow for live video and motion detection recording. The newer features of the DVR would not work with the lower resolution 720p cameras. So the human detection and facial capture technology would be unusable. Additional, the 720p cameras do not have the Spotlight technology as the newer cameras with this kit do. Thanks for choosing Night Owl!
