Hi GG. To remotely view this system from a Smart Device, you must manually connect the DVR to your router using the provided Ethernet cable. You can connect your Smart Device to Wi-Fi, which enables our app to connect to your system, but the DVR must be wired to your network. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
