Hi Cookie. For remote viewing on a phone, tablet, PC or Mac, the DVR needs to be hardwired to your Router or a Mesh Network. It cannot be Wi-Fi connected for remote connectivity. If you extend a camera more than 60 ft., you may want to purchase an additional power adapter for that camera so that it does not run into any power issues, particularly with Night Vision when the camera has to power on the LEDs.
