• No But if you want to check the cameras while your away then Yes you would need the internet connection to access the dvr

• You are not required to connect your Night Owl system to the internet to set it up. You will need an internet connection if you would like to view your cameras remotely from your smart device. Thank you very much for choosing Night Owl.

• You do not have the internet to set it up or use it. Mine is not connected to the internet. It has night vision that is 100% better than my old system. I would recommend this system to any body.
