how hard is it to install this item null

This camera must be added to a compatible Night Owl DVR. Our systems are sold as DIY (Do-it-Yourself) kits. The only difficult portion of the installation is running the cables from the cameras to the DVR. How hard that is depends upon your setup and level of comfortability with cabling. We do have some customers who opt to hire a 3rd party installers, which is always an option. Installation is not included with purchase. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
