“How much does the xhd Dvr store (hours/days) if there are three cameras on continuous record? Will it automatically delete? Or do I have to do so manually? Can I delete from the app? Or just the TV? Thanks :)”

As a general rule, a 500GB HDD will record up to 6 months, a 1 TB HDD up to 12 months and a 2 TB HDD up to 24 months of footage. The amount of time your HDD lasts is dependent on your record settings. If you have your system set to record 24/7, this will drastically cut down on the length of storage. Night Owl recommends, when possible, setting your DVR to motion record. This will allow your DVR to record when a camera detects motion and increase the amount of time it takes your HDD to become full. Whatever your settings preference, Night Owl recommends setting your DVR to overwrite when the HDD is full. You may only delete recordings directly from the DVR.
