As a standalone camera with a Wi-Fi connection, you would only record when motion is detected. If you connect this camera to a compatible DVR (HC20X Series) or Wi-Fi NVR (WNVRC20 Series), then you can opt to record continuously. How long the camera will record before storage becomes full depends on many factors such as the storage capacity and your record settings.
