• A:Answer The lens case is in all black (unlike some Canon lenses which are in a gray/off-white color). Also, some other high-end Nikon lenses (not the mirrorless Z mount lenses) have a gold ring around the end as a aesthetic touch (the high end Z lenses have no color to them other than black with white lettering).
