One of the differences between the 1 NIKKOR 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and the 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 lens is that the 10-30mm lens has Vibration Reduction technology built-in while the 11-27.5mm lens does not. Another difference is that the 10-30mm lens has more lens elements than the 11-27.5mm lens does. If you are looking for a lightweight lens the 11-27.5mm lens is lighter and more compact. Both offer tack-sharp images and vibrant images, even at telephoto zoom ranges. To learn more about these two lenses please contact Nikon Support.
