• Clarity for both scopes will be the same, but each will give you a different magnification and field of view. The Aculon A211 10x42 would magnify the image closer then the 8x42s. However the 10x42 would have a narrower field of view then then the 8x42.

• Both are clear, it just depends on how steady you are holding them. If by hand, get the less powerful one. If you have a tripod you should get the most powerful one you can get.

• I would say the 10x42. I brought the 8x42 for close up item and have distance.
