- Answer It is a DX lens. It will work on full frame like, for example, my D600, but it will use only cropped part of the martrix.

- Answer Yes. The firmware version 1.01 for the Nikon D3300 provides support for turning VR on or off in the menu when a Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR lens is attached. This firmware does not address the limitation concerning the lens focus ring on the AF-P 10-20mm lens; the lens focus ring can not be disabled when in autofocus mode.

QuestionIs infinity focus available on this lens?

- Answer This lens has fully automated focus. Even in manual mode if you rotate the focusing ring it has electrical servo. So, there is no infinity focusing mark, but you can focus manually to infinity.

- Answer The Nikon D3200 DSLR camera is not compatible with AF-P type lenses and has limited compatibility with AI and AF type lenses. For lenses that are fully compatible with this camera model use AF-S and newer E-type lenses.

- Answer You'll need to go on Nikon site to find out if your camera needs an update. If it does, on Nikon site under your model, you'll see a link and instruction on how to update the firmware for your camera.

QuestionIf i am shooting star trails with this lens on a D5200 using intervalometer; after my first shot, where i will be manually setting the focus to infinity, will the focus reset? The stars are at infinity so will they still be in focus after the focus reset?

- Answer No. An AF-P type lens, such as the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR, is not compatible with the Nikon D3100 DSLR camera, but AF-S and newer E-type lenses are fully compatible. For comparable and compatible wide-angle lenses, check out the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom or the AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED Ultra-Wide Zoom.

- Answer No. AF-P type lenses are not compatible with the Nikon D90 DSLR camera. AF-S and AF-type lenses can be used with no limitations with this camera body while AI-type lenses will work but with limitations. - Answer No. The Nikon D5000 DSLR camera is not compatible with AF-P or E-type lenses. A fully compatible lens type for the Nikon D5000 is an AF-S type lens. AI and AF-type lenses can also be used but must be manually focused as this camera body doesn't have a built-in focus motor.
