Q: Will this work with Nicon D3400? Thank you

A: Yes, this item will work with Nikon D3400.

Q: Will this lens fit Nikon D850?

A: The mount on the DX and FX Nikon cameras are the same. It will fit on a FX camera such as the D850. However, because this lens is designed for DX cameras like a D500 you will experience severe vignetting when used on a FX camera. However, the D850 can be switched to shoot in DX mode with almost the same pixel count as a D500. No more vignetting. But do you want to drop from 45MPs to 20MPs on a D850 to use this lens? Your decision.

Q: Why dont you carry the Canon EF mount?

A: Hello Ya. I was able to purchase the Nikon F mount edition. I don't know why Best Buy doesn't carry the Can EF mount. Maybe they did initially, but sold out. Obviously, they have more Nikon F mount versions available. This is an order lens by Sigma. I'm grateful and fortunate that Best Buy had more available. This was a great deal. I wish you success in finding a version.

Q: will it work with a Nikon D3500? and is it a zoom lense

A: Yes it will. The Nikon D3500 has an F-mount for lenses and that is the type of mount that this lens have.

Q: is this lens compatible with Nikon D5100?

A: Yes. I’ve used it with my D5100. It functions very well. Be sure to purchase a Sigma usb dock to calibrate this lens for your camera. It’s a bit of a process, but very well worth the one time setup for the superior results you’ll get.

Q: Does it work on d7500

A: Yes, the Sigma - 50-100mm F1.8 DC HSM Art Telephoto Zoom Lens works with Nikon D 7500, and remember, the D 7500 Nikon isn't a full-frame camera. But I shot Capture Wonderful picture.

Tamron - 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD Telephoto Zoom Lens for Sony E-Mount - Black
5.0(26)

The 150-500mm F5-6.7 is Tamron's first ultra-telephoto zoom lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras that reaches the 500mm focal length and when used on APS-C mirrorless format cameras, the zoom range is an approximate 225-750mm full-frame equivalent. Even when extended to the 500mm telephoto end, the lens is still compact enough for comfortable handheld shooting. This zoom lets users enjoy casual shooting with steady performance and high image quality in the ultra-telephoto realm where conventional wisdom once dictated a tripod. To support handheld shooting in the ultra-telephoto range, the 150-500mm is equipped with VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive), a linear motor focus mechanism that delivers excellent quietness and agile performance, and Tamron's proprietary VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism for high-level image stabilization. At the 150mm end, the lens offers an MOD of 23.6” for powerful and dramatic close-ups.

Simply amazing in spite of quirks

Bought the lens in spite of You Tube reviews ranging from cool to ok with qualifications. I saw promise for my intended uses, low light stage production and high school hockey games. It has not disappointed. Image quality and auto focus accuracy, when used with a Z6 for the stage production, was spot on all the time. Used with a D500 focus accuracy was more like 90-95%. But that could be attributed to trying to track fast moving hockey players. Heavy for its 2:1 zoom range but easily managed. No VR. Not an issue with a max f/1.8 aperture. The tripod collar is an odd one. Short, close to the lens barrel and not removable. Some say it gets in the way of the zoom ring. I did not find it to be an issue. If you're a pixel peeper corner sharpness may disappoint when shooting at f/1.8. But who puts their main subject way up into the corners? Is that a thing? The finish seems relatively easy to mar. So, depending on your usage it may begin to look well used when it really isn't Overall, this is a 5 to 6 star lens in the hands of a competent photographer. The scale only goes to5 but it should go to 6 with this lens.

    Good lens for advanced photographers.

Lens is quite heavy and the quality isn't as clean as sigma art lenses.
