The Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR Telephoto Zoom lens is only 14.7 ounces (415 grams), making it lightweight enough to take on all your adventures; however, the number of cameras compatible with this lens is limited and some compatible models will require a firmware update before use. I own this myself and consider it to be very easy to use handheld without any additional support of a tripod/monopod.
