The Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR telephoto zoom lens is an amazingly fast lens and has VR to reduce the effect of hand-shake, making it a great lens for sports and other fast-moving subjects. This lens is designed to fit Nikon's F-mount cameras and is a compatible fit for the Nikon D3300. The firmware update for the D3300 camera to "Version 1.01" addresses the VR limitation of this AF-P lens, allowing you to use the menu to turn VR on or off once the camera's been updated. However, the limitation for the lens focus ring remains; the lens focus ring can not be disabled when in autofocus mode.
