What can the 55-300 lens do that the 55-200 can not. null

Both lens are good, but the 300 brings in images much much closer, clearer and sharper.

You will have more zoom range with the 55-300mm lens.

If you are truly shooting distance like a softball game it puts you on the field. Much better then the 200. I had used the 200, it was ok but I ran into another photographer on the field and they encouraged me to go to a 300 and they were not wrong. For the money a Best Buy.
