The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 20mm f/1.8G ED has a maximum aperture of f/1.8 and a minimum aperture of f/16. The aperture of f/2.8 is able to be acheived with this lens when used with a Nikon DSLR camera body that is placed in Manual Mode.
