• Yes, the AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/2.8G ED VR II Lens will work on both the D7500 and D7200. Please keep in mind that when using this lens on a DX Crop sensor body like the D7500 and D7200, there will be a crop factor of 1.5 times, meaning the focal length on this lens will appear to be a 450mm lens.

• Hi: I would check on the NIKONUSA.com. web page for lens compatibility. As far as image quality goes; awesome. I use it with my D5 and D850.
