The SB500 is a basic point and shoot camera. The lens can not be changed. Isn’t this obvious?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The Nikon COOLPIX B500 digital camera has a fixed lens that cannot be removed or changed. This easy-to-use camera offers a Smart Portrait Mode to allow you to take images that can easily be enhanced during shooting, however, it does not have a mode for creating the effect of a softly blurred background, or "bokeh". This effect is created when your image has a very shallow depth of field and is mostly controlled by the aperture setting. This camera does not have the ability to control aperture directly. If you are looking for such features check out ones that offer "manual exposure control", like the Nikon COOLPIX B700 or the Nikon COOLPIX A900.
