“I know this is going to be a crazy question for most of you but I’m new to Nikon so please ,does this lens ( for night time) add on to your regular... say 300mm lens or do you have to take off your long lens to put this night time piece on ?50mmf/1.8G”

Hi Sapphire, you will in fact have to take off the 300mm. Lenses are not stackable unless it is something like a teleconverter.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nikon DSLRs use an F Mount system which allows you to use a wide variety of NIKKOR lenses. When you want to use a different lens simply release the current lens and attach the lens you want to use, instead, onto the mount.
