Either of these lenses would be fine for the D3000 or D7200. Remember, the 50mm f/1.8 is an lens made for a camera with a full frame sensor. At Nikon this is an FX-type lens. That 50mm, because of the smaller sensor (DX-type) in the D3000 and D7200 would equate to a 75mm angle of view. The 35mm would be the equivalent of 52mm. You should keep that in mind when making the choice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 50mm 1.8G is Better then the 35mm, I recommend the 50mm
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same confusion but decided to go with the 50mm based on the suggestion from one of my professional photographer friends. I am not disappointed, but I cannot give you an honest feedback on the 35mm as I have never used it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because those are "Crop Sensors". the 35mm will end up with a ~50mm View, and the 50mm will end up being ~75mm view. So, choose based on that. Either are fine for that camera, all depends on what you want.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The DX lens would be more suitable for your camera as it is specially made for those models.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would get the 50mm unless you are doing really wide group photos
