Is this a DX or FX lens? null

Any lens that has the letters DX on the barrel is optimized for Nikon DX-format sensor cameras and is considered to be a DX lens. If you don't see the letters DX on the barrel, then the lens is optimized for FX-format cameras. The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G Medium Telephoto lens is an FX lens.
