Yes, the AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G Lens will fit on the Nikon D3400. A great macro lens you may want to look into is the AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Macro Lens.

Yes. However, because the Nikon D3400 has a crop sensor, the effective focal length would be closer to 130mm.

Yes it fits all Nikon D series cameras.. they are F mounts. Best Prime telephoto lense, great for portrait! For the price, worth it!
