“if someone gave me this camera as a gift but I am concerned that they have installed with wifi the ability to see my pictures, how can i disable that feature”

The Nikon COOLPIX A300 digital camera uses Bluetooth to transfer images to a connected smart device that is running the SnapBridge application. It's really easy to un-pair a device. Just go to the Bluetooth option in the Network Menu and choose "Paired Devices". Select the device you wish to be disconnected from in this sub-menu and choose "delete".
