• The Nikon COOLPIX L340 digital camera comes with four temporary LR6/L40 (AA) alkaline batteries and can use either four alkaline AA batteries, four lithium AA batteries or four EN-MH2 Rechargeable Ni-MH (nickel metal hydride) batteries which are commercially available. NE-MH1 rechargeable Ni-MH batteries cannot be used with this camera model.
