How long do the batteries last? null

The battery life is amazing. 4 AA batteries and they lasted me through hundreds of pictures.....I used rayovac batteries too.

Battery life depends on conditions of use, such as the interval between shots or the length of time that menus and images are displayed, as well as how they are stored when not being used by the Nikon COOLPIX L340 digital camera. The type of battery used will determine the amount of shooting time you will have from a fully charged battery; four LR6/L40 (AA-size) alkaline batteries will give you about 370 shots, four FR6/L91 (AA) lithium batteries will give you approximately 960 shots and four EN-MH2 Rechargeable Ni-MH batteries will give you about 600 shots.
