“What diameter lens filters should I buy for this camera? I'd like to buy filters that don't require adapters.”

• The end of the lens is not threaded. No way to attach a filter or lens hood (what I was looking for). That was my answer from Nikon support. Also, when the lens retracts during a power down, the end of the lens fully retracts into the body, so any external adapter would be knocked off the lens.

• The P530 does not use filter, but has filter effect by selecting an image then pressing Menu and Filter Effects. More details can be found in the Reference Manual.
