Can a lens hood be attached to the p900? null

No, lens hoods cannot be attached to the Nikon Coolpix P900.

Luckily, I owned a P500 before getting the new p900. The 500 came with a small strap that i removed, and sent through one of the eyelets for the camera's neck strap. On other end, I placed it onto the lens cap, and taped it down with regular clear tape. It does not look that great, but so far, it has held up nicely. Why such a cord was not included with the 900, as it was with the 500, I don't know.
