• Yes, it does lag. Not aware of any cameras that don't, other than maybe Pro Cameras, at Pro Camera prices :( I guess you get what you pay for ;)

• The shutter speed value on the Nikon COOLPIX P900 digital camera can be set to a max shutter speed of 1/4000 second when all other settings allow. Continuous mode allows as much as 1/4000-1/30 second, depending on which continuous option you use. To learn more about shutter speed and how to adjust and control lag, please contact Nikon Support.
