• Yes, it will shoot in burst mode which is what you want for action shots. Be aware that the camera requires buffering time between bursts.

• Yes! The Nikon COOLPIX P900 digital camera takes great action shots, both near and far. To freeze action just place the camera in a continuous shooting setting in Auto Mode and press the shutter button down to get up to 7 continuous shots per second!
